As school gets started across the country, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart and Juan Pablo Montoya share a motivational message for America's students, appearing in an ad for President Obama's address to school children to be aired Sept. 8th.
Thanks for stepping up fellows, and doing the right thing.
NASCAR is packed with liberals? Not likely. Just some guys who see the message for what it is - a president trying to help the youth of America with a good message to kids about hard work, self-reliance and dedication to themselves and the country as a whole. Yeah that's enough to make anyone puke.
LOL
Fact is, the kids who heard and will hear this message and take it to heart will probably grow up with a better, more constructive perspective on America and how to make her greater than most of us on this board.

Hyperbole alert.
LOL. Is it possible to overstate something anymore than this?

Personally I’m sick and tired of Advertisement endorsements from Celebrities, Athletes and Politicians just to name a few. My guess NASCAR forced these guys into an endorsement just like they fine them if they do not do interviews with the media. I know at least one of those will get an email from me for an explanation.

Money with them is nothing but trash when it is to come out of the people. But it is the one great thing for which most of them are striving, and many of them sacrifice honor, integrity, and justice to obtain it.
I doubt NASCAR forced (or even could force) anyone to appear in an ad which was unrelated to NASCAR business. As pointed out by Canuck Buck, they weren't wearing their driving suits with their sponsor logos, which usually means they are on their own pet projects, of which this is clearly one. They appear to be genuine in supporting the message Obama is sending to kids. If not, they are good actors who agreed to do the spot.

If it's "unrelated to NASCAR business" then why do you mislead with your thread title and call it a "NASCAR endorsement"?
