Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Beam me down, Scotty...

Former Congressman James Traficant was released from prison this week after having served a sentence of about 7 years for bribery and racketeering.

There was immediate conversation divided into two camps:

Those who would never want to see him in office again and those who would love to see him run again immediately.

boysda was right. We have within the numbers of our politicians some classic ego-maniacs.

Traficant has been silent. No word of his plans so far.

Sadly, Traficant would have little trouble getting elected to his old job.

As far as democrats go, if Dodd, Rangel, and the late Kennedy can and could keep their jobs, I'll take ten Traficants to those three, and the country would still be better off for it. It would be fun to watch Traficant debate the fraud that is being perpetrated on the American people by this administration.

He was before my time but wasn't he kind of a 'true' representative of the people? Didn't he kind of swing which ever way his constituents wanted him to -hence the bribery charge I guess? He was pro-life too wasn't he? Well, as pro-life as a democrat could be anyway.
