Yep, we know the dems are out to have a govenrment funded healthcare option for the American people - they're open about it. No secret about that since 1992.
Problem is, many Republican claim this is wrong. Yet those same republican senators and congressmen from DC to each and every State House have socialized medical coverage for themselves and sometimes their entire families.
They need to put thier money where their mouth is and refuse this socialism - give that coverage and monetary savings back to the people and buy private ins. out of their own pockets - which is what they are claiming to champion.
Nahh, they know better, they'll blast Obama for wanting that same coverage for The People, yet they'll quietly savor thier own gov. funded healthcare, knowing full well the benefits of their socialized health insurance.
Those republicans who continue to use socilaized healthcare while railing against it are morally bankrupt hypocrites - amounting to nothing more than insurance company lobbyists on the public dime.
Disgraceful.

Not to mention TVA employees who have socialized medical coverage, nor the military, nor postal workers - all who have socialized medical coverage.
Those registered republican members of those groups refuse the socialized - taxpayer funded healthcare on a regular basis right?
Don't retirees from those groups (who are registered republicans) opt out of the socialized healthcare and buy thier own private insurance, so they can go to the "tea parties" with a clear, hypocrisy free conscience? ..... Right?

God your a complete idiot. Keep posting though, it's really shows. FYI, members of congress don't have socialized medicine. They have muiltiple private insurers to choose from. They don't choose medicare or medicaid because it sucks. That's why your buddy the Dems have refused to go under the same plan they are forcing on everyone else. They have voted down every amendment that required them to do so.

You have no idea what you are talking about, and are thus excused on ignorance.

Congress has a different retirement plan than the rest of us too--not SS. If you think the average American will get the same kind of "insurance" that Congress gets under the bho plan, you are stoned. If you have ever served in the Military, I don't think you'd want that kind of "care". I know I don't.
Like FM said, a Congressman from LA tried to get an amendment included that would require Congress to have to use the same plan the rest of us get--I reckon it was shot down by the Democrat controlled Congress.
You picked the wrong site to try and peddle kool-aid....

Many Republicans across this nation have health insurance on the public dime, and then rail against it.
Hypocrisy pure and simple.
They can opt out at any time, yet most don't.
Speaks volumes.
They should own it and lead by example if they are really opposed to socialized medical plans.

Ahh, our friend fodderblade is back. Now this here is worth popping a bag of popcorn for. Let's commence with the hyperbolic statements, the race to weird, illogical conclusions and the putting of words into folkses mouths.
Oh, I see it has already begun. Well...at least Deerandboarhog and a couple of others will have some competition from the other side of the political spectrum.

Out of ammo before you begin I see.

To avoid seeming like a complete braying ass(any further), perhaps you should click this link and read for awhile.
This is what most people think of when they envision health care coverage in a free market, take careful note that it's available to any federal employee, which is probably why there are so many of them. If I agreed that they should forgo their current benefit package and join whatever assinine package they cook up for us then I'd be a bigger hypocrite than you since I don't even support the concept of universal health care. I'd rather they just stay out of my pocket altogether. I might agree that if they provide it to themselves then they should provide it to all, but then I'd be a liberal socialist asswipe like you, and frankly the thought of the dry heaves I'd get prevent me from even considering that stance.
