Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default GAWD what a bunch of whiners republicans are

GAWD all this screeching "Obama paranoia" is hilarious.

Where was all this "outrage" when Bush signed the largest expansion of government run healthcare in US history? (Medicare Drug Benefit plan)

That was actually passed by republicans and SINGED INTO LAW by Bush - ballooning the deficit more than ever.

And you bunch of cry-babies are already whining about what Obama "Might" do. He hasn't actually signed any healthcare bill.

Apparently it was OK for Bush to expand socilaism more than any president in US history - because he actually DID IT, and his supporters towed the line.

Where were the "anti-prescription drug tea parties"?

Where were the diatribes from Hannity, Lardball, and Beck?

Guess what - there weren't any 'cause Bush was their boy.

Right now, the motivation for the crying is moreso to do with the fact that a black democrat got elected president and less so to do with healthcare.

Let me get this right. Your comparing a overhaul, or complete destruction of the entire health system in our country for folks who can work, can take care of themeselves, to an addon for caring for those who cannot take care of themself after the age of 65?

You got to be kidding me. Are you really this dense? Or that desparate?

Hey came out from under a rock again now did you? Certainly haven't seen you for a awhile. We conservatives certainly did complain. That goes for Hannity as well when the perscription drug benifit was passed into law. I've still complain about it today. Since when a reward for getting old, is to allow your neighbors to pay for your meds? Secondly, just like Obamacare isn't needed today, the drug benifit wasn't need back then. There was no issues for seniors getting meds. Drug companies already provided free perscriptions for those who couldn't afford them. However, just like government, when a tiny bunch of Americans are without, we need to screw everyone else and force things down the throat of millions.

FYI, the perscription drug benifit is the only government program that has come in uder projections, unlike the Dem's proposals. If that's any conselation.

He's a liberal, so I'm going to assume that is a rhetorical question...

That's funny... 8 years in office, and I had no idea Bush could sing.

You know... It might be a good idea if the idiots on the left would stop pointing out how Bush "ballooned" the deficit, since I believe your guy, Obama, is running a bigger deficit THIS YEAR than Bush did in his entire term...

Typical. Play the race card.

Hmm, sounds oddly similar to the brilliant speeches, the 3 rate comedian ,Janine Garafalo's been giving to whoever will listen. Do liberals ever have an origonal thought, or do they just reapeat anything they think sounds witty or profound?

Like I said, Bush actually expanded socialized medcial programs more than any president in US history - It ACTUALLY happened. And those who voted for him made it happen, while claiming to be conservative.

Now that's funny.

What's even funnier is the glaring omission from republicans - they haven't yet tried to repeal Bush's socialized drug program, yet they wail about the "what might be" from Obama.

Tolerate the existing "socialized medical boogeyman" yet screech like a school girl over Obama's pipe-dreams.

Yeah, now that's the typical republican hypocrisy I've come to know.

This thread says a lot... Libs & Dems always think anyone who opposes them has to be a Republican. In fact, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Beck are Conservatives. That doesn't make them Republicans by default.

Could be. I don't rightly know.

What I do know is that most folks who oppose universal health coverage are republicans.

That's a no brainer.

It would be silly to suppose otherwise.

You bet ya. I don't want to pay for health care for lazy folks who want a handout. I don't mind taking care of the old, who can't care for themselves. I call that common sense, you call it hypocracy. It doesn't have to be the extremes all the time.

I have been to the most conservative countries in the world. The places like Mexico where you have the haves and have nots. Everybody fends for themselves. It doesn't work. I have been to the most socialist countries in the world. Like France, where liberals have bred a whole society of needy people that couldn't fend for themselves. You need a balance. This is just common sense. You can't have free health care for all. It ain't free and somebody has got to pay for it. But you can't have a society that doens't take care of those who can't take care of themselves.

Balance man. Call me conservative, call me a moderate, or even a lib. Doesn't matter to me.

This is why you have always looked so ignorant on here along with mag man and others. No common sense.
