There are few things in this world as heartbreaking as a sick child, especially when it's your own. And if you've ever gone through the experience of having your child quarantined because of illness, you know the true feeling of despair and helplessness. My little girl (age 3) was diagnosed with H1N1 and is in quarantine at Children's Hospital where she's undergoing tests after developing symptoms of pneumonia. I'm not sure about the quarantine part, since, if the "experts" predictions of a coming "wave" of H1N1 cases turns out to be true, there's little that can be done to stop the spread. It sure puts things in perspective. For me, at least.

Keep the faith. My 2 were born 10 weeks early. They spent 7 weeks in the hospital. Lots of praying and hand holding. Everything turned out ok. Kids are a lot tougher than we give them credit for. I will keep your little one in my prayers.
