On Tuesday, MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally...wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip....there are questions about whether this has racial overtones....white people showing up with guns." Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.

Also... It was a PRO health care reform rally. The guy was there SUPPORTING Obamacare. And, MSNBC is trying to sell this white hate groups with assault weapons garbage. No wonder MSNBC is going down the tubes. Staffed by morons, broadcast for morons.
I think a lot of misinformation is being thrown around here as usual. On the other thread here about this idiot who shows up with a rifle, we were told by a poster that this guy was a plant by Libertarians. So which is it?? Was he a Libertarian or was he there for Obamacare? How would Obamacare be viewed positively by a Libertarian??? Someone is either lying, a hypocrite, or more likely both.

It may have been legal but I don't think it was a good idea to show up with weapons. This issue had nothing to do with the 2nd amendment. It just managed to fire up the press.
MSNBC obviously went out of their way to portray this with racial overtones. OOPS, the guy with the AR was black. Media bias at it's best.
