Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default These guys know how to protest.

Nice to still see a state where you can exercise your 2nd amendment during a peaceful protest. My hats off to Arizona.

Sure, and you guys better hope that one of these yahoos doesn't do anything stupid with one of these firearms because I can assure you that your gun rights will take a sudden and drastic hit. The media is playing up these incidents quite a bit. It will be interesting how the general public (more of which who don't own guns) views this kind of stuff. You guys may love it, but I can assure that there are MORE people who don't exactly see it the same way. Hopefully it doesn't all come back and bite you guys.

Smile On the other hand,

apparently, law-abiding citizens carrying guns, are not all that much of a danger.

It's kind of strange how some people are frightened just by hearing about people carrying guns

I don't know about the guy last week, but the guy yesterday was a pro-healthcare guy. Purely a scare tactic on the part of the left with this one.

I was just watching the news about this. Kills me how they keep calling them "assualt weapons."

Anyway, I'm not sure this is a great idea. It could just as well have the opposite effect. Can't you just hear them screaming, "look at all those gun toting radicals out there! Bet they cling to religion too!"

There's got to be better ways to look like what they are. Normal law abiding citizens who love their country and the Constitution. Carrying rifles to that type of venue screams nut job. Whether they are or not.

Glad to see some reasonable thinking people around here. The media has been playing this up quite a bit and as we all know they have a knack for swaying public opinion on many issues. I don't think the outcome would be a positive one for gun owners if they keep harping on these types of incidents.

I have read some news reports on the incident. They are clear that what the people are doing is perfectly legal. Considering how violent that some people on the left sometimes can be at political gatherings, i would probably be more worried about unarmed wackos on the left than armed Republicans at the same event.

One thing for sure, guy has balls that clank when he walks. I bet secret service had a crosshair on him at all times. What these idiots can't figure out is a man with an open gun is a whole lot less scary than a nutball with it hidden.

Cool

I'm still not clear to me why some people wet their panties at the very idea of guys carrying guns.

It's like, "Oh yeah, I'm for the second amendment as long as people don't keep them in their homes or, worse yet carry them around. Guns are dangerous and should be strictly controlled, but I'm all for the second amendment."
