Sometimes I can only watch this stuff in utter disbelief.
Though it's hard sometimes to wonder if some lobby somewhere isn't organizing these "protests" (though, what of it - it's not like the opposition point of view during the Bush Presidency had a patent on the concept), what seems particularly unlikely is that a lobby could organize such PASSION against this health care plan. These people seem truly - and - absolutely - FURIOUS with the plan, the process, and their elected representatives.
In my life I've not seen so much anger displayed by Americans on television. Not Iraq. Not the economy. People are very, very, very angry with their government. I'm not sure that this kind of anger makes me all that comfortable, though I certainly do not support this bill.
It is however surprising to see the liberal ideology behind this plan and how it reacts to the very same tactics it's used ever since I can remember. Is it jealous that it may very well have been outdone?

I think it is wonderful to see people with such passion and anger for what is being crammed down our throats. It has been a long time coming.
I loved the part where he called out Pelosi, Reid, and Hoyer and told them to come say it to his sons face and how he would use lethal force to protect his family against those that would come in the middle of the night.

I'll bet there won't be a word about this on the major networks except perhaps to show this as a disruption of the town hall. There will be no mention of him or his family being threatened under the cover of darkness. I'll bet the exalted one will stay very far from this issue.
Anyone want to bet on whether the cowards that paid the nighttime visit had either an SEIU or ACORN member card in their wallet.

That's what I've been hearing too. It's going to get real ugly. Don't know when. Don't know how. But, I just have a strange feeling that people are going to take just so much and then they snap like a twig.
Despite being the world's largest privately armed citizenry, another civil war is highly unlikely since we can vote the scumbags out more easily and with no bloodshed. While we are a very competitive subset of the species, Americans on the whole are a peaceful people. It's largely because we have the ability to take back our government by force if needed that we are citizens rather than subjects.
