Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Thank you Harry Reid...

Good grief, that was hard to type...

Thanks Sen. Reid for your role in helping to quash Obama's request that the Senate ratify CIFTA, the small arms treaty with Mexico...

One of the very rare times that I'll agree with the Senator from Nevada....

I guess Dingy Harry has finally come to grips with the fact that he may need to find a job next election.

Reid has a mid-term election coming up that he is going to need all the hair on his chinny, chin, chin to win. It makes you wonder what he would do after he won a fresh 6 year term..... Well, it don't make me wonder.

Thank you Harry Reid. Harry Reid is a pro-gunner who is rated B by the NRA. Reid voted against the 2004 extension of the AWB. 10 so called Republicans voted to extend the AWB and it passed the senate. Thankfully it did not pass the house.

The senate vote to extend the AWB:

Quote:
Ten Republicans broke party ranks on the assault weapons vote: Warner, Chafee, Fitzgerald, DeWine, Lugar, Voinovich, Susan Collins of Maine, Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Gordon Smith of Oregon and Olympia Snowe of Maine.

Six Democrats voted against extending the ban: Baucus, Nelson, Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Zell Miller of Georgia and Harry Reid of Nevada.
The vote on the McCain Lieberman so called "gunshow loophole" bill:

A few Republicans also voted with the Democrats to close the "gun show loophole." Under current law, unlicensed gun dealers at private shows are not required to ask for government background checks before selling weapons. Democrats and a few Republicans argued that loopholes allows people who normally wouldn't be able to buy guns get dangerous weapons.

"Criminals and terrorists are exploiting this obvious loophole in our gun safety laws," said Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona. McCain, along with fellow Republicans Warner, Richard Lugar of Indiana, George Voinovich of Ohio, Charles Hagel of Nebraska, Mike DeWine of Ohio, Peter Fitzgerald of Illinois and Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island voted along with the Democrats.

Democrats Max Baucus of Montana and Ben Nelson of Nebraska also crossed party lines to vote with the Republicans.

Whoa, ipcs.... Did you type, what I think you typed?

I agree with Rev. I think nutjob Harry Reid is (maybe) realizing how PO'd people are and he is worried about losing his job.

Harry Reid has long been a stalwart defender of our 2nd amendment rights.

Talking

Reid is just protecting his phony assed job, nothing more or less. Having someone of his stature against it certainly helps keep it from getting ratified though.

Oh gawd, I just threw up in my mouth a little...
