Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Sure are some strange things going on.

A politician in an opposing party cast a critical vote for another person thought to be a threat to the freedom of the people to one of the most powerful positions in the land and abruptly resigns with no explanation other than his concern over his family.

He then leaves the decision for his replacement to another person in his party who also was very supportive of the opposing parties major initiative which many believe will be detrimental to the freedom of the land.

Either things are just happening or someone has an enormous amount of power.

Think I said before that the removal of opposition was the next thing worth taking notice of.

>>WASHINGTON (AFP) – The only Hispanic Democratic US Senator, Robert Menendez, and leaders of major Latino groups warned Wednesday that Republicans will "pay a price" for voting against Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor.
"I believe the Republicans will pay a price for saying 'no' to this judge," and to President Barack Obama's policies in general, Menendez said in Spanish at a press conference ahead of Sotomayor's all-but-certain confirmation.<<

I don't know how I feel about him saying this IN SPANISH at a news conference. Don't think there's a law against it.Weird stuff!

He was my senator and I am glad he is stepping down.

I had high hopes for Mel but he turned out to be a nothing. Now, Charlie Christ wants his seat and will run in the next cycle 2010.
