Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default How would things be different now if McCain had won?

1. I'll start off by saying there would not be encouragement to snitch on someone who disagreed with the President.

2. Money would be reaching sustainable jobs instead of political paybacks.

3. The unions would have had to realize that they have helped to cripple the auto industry and need to disband to save their jobs. United we stand, divide we beg = united we unemployed.

4. I would watch press conferences more often to see Palin. Instead we see pics of Michelle O's 6ft 5" tall turtle shell ass while listening to people talk about how in shape she is.

5. My grandparents would not be worried about their own health care if this country makes a lightspeed blind jump to Obamacare.

6. A vast majority of Democrats struggle for an identity because there is not a overwhelming voice of power to legislate them on how to live their lives. They will have to learn to think for themselves again.

7. My lawbiding way of life would not be threatened by each new bill that passes through congress. IE... tax increases, healthcare, gun bans, eliminating mortgage deductions ETC.

A few quick assumptions here.

1. He hopefully would not have been throwing billions at everything like Obama has and apparently will continue to.

2. He hopefully would have let GM and Chrysler die a natural death.

3. He hopefully would have also made healthcare reform a priority but went about it at a much slower pace and spelled out to the American people what it will all mean and entail.

4. Continued full scale occupation of Iraq which would only cost Americans more unnecessary money and continue to be less and less popular. Lots of money spent and little to show for it to the point where people just don't care anymore.

5. He would have had some more egg on his face for choosing Palin as his running mate after Americans got to see even more of how smart she really is.

Most of us would be hoping McCain died so that we could have a real president.

What would be different if McCain were elected?

(1) Probably most importantly, you would not have the presidency, the senate, and the house run by the same political party. There would be a bit more deference paid to opinions on both side of the political parties, which would tend to moderate the intensity and outlandishness of political actions.

(2) We would not have had the $1 T + stimulus package. I've heard some noise lately that the economy may be bottoming out and aligning for recovery. My guess is that no more than 10% of the stimulus has been spent to date, hence that remaining 90% of stimulus is defacto mad money spent just to buy Democratic votes in the future and to fund pet social spending programs. I always thought that the economy would self correct without government intervention. Nothing I have seen so far has changed that thought.

(3) We would not have bailed out Chrysler and GM. These unfit companies would have been allowed to go the way of the dinosaurs as they should have. Instead we get to pay to subsidize these unfit, uncompetitive companies on our tax dollar. There is a REASON they were bankrupt. If they had been allowed to fail, this would have had good secondary consequences. I bet the executives at Ford motor company could fully inform us on what some of these benefits might have been. Additionally, since the American car market would remain and somebody would still be making cars to supply that market, the gaff foisted upon us that all these supplier companies would wither and dry up would not have come to pass. They simply would have been supplying the other companies that supplied the unchanged market for cars.

(4) We would not have Judge Sotomayor sitting on the supreme court -- an activist who strongly favors handouts and special privileges for minorities.

!) Bubmblig Joe Biden! C'mon guy is good for a laugh and he can't be taken seriously.
2) Government Snitches, this is going to be good for a couple lkynchingds and house burnings before it is over.
3. Government denial of internet and chat romm services. I beleive the Twitter hit was a definite test of it's security zones. Those will be the first to shut down in a "closed society' or national emergency.
4. All the cool names the O has for himself now.
5. Congress flying in $200 million GS V! luxury jets after they derided the car execs for coing to Washington intheir copany jets.
6. List is endless

Are you claiming to be a christain? If not how would you know?

Takes one to know one!

Was a pretty lame statement. (what you were commenting on).

If McPalin was president I don't think anything would be any different in direction.

I think we would have had a more conservative nominee to the SCOTUS.

What makes you think that given the past? We supported the Bush's (who are even more conservative than McCain) and what did they do?

A politician is a politician is a politician. Politics is not the answer. The difference between McCain and Obama is one does what is expected and the other does the same thing.

If not Soto... who? Wouldn't have been any different. Neither party understands freedom. Freedom isn't perfect, it's the best. It demands that mistakes be allowed.

Let my kids die by a drunk driver and live for the time they have free instead of living like a slave saved from being killed by a would be drunk driver. Neither party understands this.

You've heard of Roberts and Alito, right? That's the type that McCain said he'd appoint.
