Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default John Conyers: read the bill

John Conyers doesn't see the point of reading the bills introduced and wants to introduce a constitutional amendment that makes it clear that every one is entitled to government run health care.

I am appalled at his reasoning. He said "Read the bill" "What good is reading the bill when it takes two days and you need two lawyers to explain it to you" Excuse me, your a congressman with a full staff and more lawyers on that staff than you can shake a stick at. The gall of these career politician's. Not to mention the fact that he is a lawyer himself.

Angry

Why do we need a Constitutional amendment that declares health insurance to be an inalienable right? Health insurance is the basis of all health care since no one outside of Congress can afford health care without insurance anymore. Do we need to amend our most cherished document for such a trivial pyrpose? Civil rights, sure, gay rights, maybe, but insurance? A better question is "Why do dipshiets keep reelecting representatives who see no point in reading what they sign?"

These nutz need to feel the kick in the pants come election day. Make them get out and get a real job. Next congressional election is going to be a barn burner. I think a lot of them are going to find they should have read bills and listened to the people.

They rather obviously didn't learn from the Clinton era Congress either Rev, that's why I'm hoping that you're right and history repeats itself.
