Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Sotomayor confirmed

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_sotomayor_senate

Let's hope that Boysda is right, that her rulings have not been anti-gun, and that she'll vote to incorporate the 2nd against the States... I'm not going to hold my breath...

Sometimes they surprise a guy but I expect anti gun and anti white rulings from her every time she gets a chance, I think she is left of osama.

Nine Republicans voted to confirm Sotomayor: i predicted ten. Teddy Baby was too sick to vote.

um, i appreciate the footnote, but you've CLEARLY confused me with one of the other token Ds on the site. I still have my ticket, but haven't walked into the business end of courtroom (a couple two or three subpoenas excepted) in over ten years. as such, my legal analytical skills have eroded considerably and i have never ventured an opinion on how justice sotomayor might rule on any issue.

i realize there are so many lefties on this board, it may be difficult to keep us straight without a scorecard

Even though it may be misplaced, I do take some consolation in the fact that she has worked in a prosecutor's office and will be the only sitting justice to have done so.

Unhappy

I dread her rise to the SCOTUS far less than I do the next one, let's hope that doesn't happen before the midterm elections or we all may as well move to France.
