Writing the congressmen ..what do I say and where do I send it?
OK Guys,
I'm also a man..so that would make me a little bit of realist as well.LOL
I'm in the dark when someone says to write thier congressmen or whatever..I am very ignorant in this area..
I'm from Florida and I do know how to write..If someone will give me an email address and to whom I'm writing I would be more than happy to write to these people..
Also..can you give me a brief summary on what to write..?
I would just briefly state my opinon on an issue and why I held that opinion, with the emphasis on brief. You might not even need to give a reason. After all, they are mostly concerned with your vote.
It could be something like, "I am opposed to the health care bill, and if you want my vote, you will be too."

DLG gave good advice, though the implied threat at the end won't make a favorable impression. The aide who will end up skimming through it will simply record the nature of the letter, and if it deals with an issue whether you oppose or support it. If you're writing about a specific bill be sure to know the number of the bill IE: HR___ or SB___, and include it in your letter. All state and federal senators and congressmen have their own website through which to communicate with their constituents, which is very convenient and costs nothing. Many orgs such as the NRA and GOA, both of whom you should be a member of, have streamlined contact portals for all pols which often include pre-written letters, and will even keep your abreast of issues of interest to you via their e-letters. Many sportsmans orgs and clubs have similar website features.

Most of the congressional websites have links that will take you an online message applet that will allow you to select a subject and then type in your comments. Check out www.congress.org. It is packed full of all kind of goodies, like upcoming votes, how the politicians voted on past bills and will provide the contact info for your elected officials. You can also go to the NRA website that will provide you with much of the same info.

Obama=The Fourth Reich,
Just look at the parallels of the Nazi regime and the Obama Administration amazingly similar arent' they.
I searched online and got their phone numbers too, They have people on those phones and will make a note of your reason to call. I keep it civil but I don't play patty cake with them either, after the call, they have no doubt of where I stand.
The hardest time i had keeping it civil was when the confirmed the stinking tax cheat for head of treasury, I ask them what kind of message they are sending ND kids when the confirm a cheater and reward them with top jobs in government.
They told me that it was just so critical to fill that position that, even though they were really upset with the way he handles his taxes, that they just had to confirm him. I told them that that was the stupidest excuse for a answer that I ever heard.
The biggest key is not what you write, it's that you write.
And how many others write. They couldn't care less about one guy writing. But if they get thousands of letters, emails, phone calls, that all say the same thing, they may take notice. And I do mean MAY!
