Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Beer Summit?

Could some of you bho supporters help me out here? We have a war on two fronts, economy in the crapper, gov't takeover of banks and auto plants, attempted gov't takeover of the healthcare and insurance industries.....and for the last week the headlines have been about having a beer?

Is it just me, or does someone have thier priorities all screwed up?

He found himself standing on his appendage in the wake of his comments.

The side show that took place was only to help him save face, nothing more. It had nothing to do with reconciliation, good will, or "teachable moments."

It will most likely go down in history as a revelation of his knee-jerk impressions of any and all white police officers. If it does not, it should, in my opinion.

I am not sure who disgusted me the most, the professor, or the president.

Crowley didn't look like he was having fun when I saw him on the news.

When the pages are turned and he is near the end of his 4 years I am afraid things like this will be what he is known for. Biden drank a near beer...probably so he wouldn't get all blabbery...

Priorities and Obama do not go into the same sentence. Remember we have to sacrifice, while he takes his bride on a 54k dinner and hires her an outrageous staff.. But the word screwed up, fits very well.

I don't give a rat's butt if they spend a million dollars of their money on a shoe shine. When they start spending ours after telling us to sacrifice is outrageous!

He misrepresented what happened and never recanted it or apologized. What did the beer meeting teach the professor about obeying police officers when they respond to a legitimate call? Crowley didn't look happy because he had no reason to. The implicit assumption of the meeting is that everyone was equally wrong, or that racism played a part in the officer's handling of the situation, when in fact Crowley did nothing wrong given the eyewitness accounts (one by a black police officer who says she'll never vote for Obama again) and 911 phone call.
