Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Palin 2012

Ok I just don't get it, why should I vote for this person if she runs in 2012?

She was the governor of a state with a population less then 700,000 for about 24 monthes. Alot of that time spent campaigning and then after she lost doing some public speaking outside of Alaska.

So why should I vote for her other then the fact I hate Obama.

Why should the Republicans put her at the top of their ticket?

I don't think I'm going to focus on 2012 as much as I am on 2009... .., I'm worried what the heck is going to happen before she does become president.

Ok, I'm a NYer and our senators are basically who ever NYC decided they are, I'll have to find out in my Congressional rep is up fo re-election.

Seriously, What platform is she gong to run on, if she even runs?

Do you think she can handle the pressure and the atacks that will come with a Presidential run, especially with her quitting her job as Governor?

Maybe that will work it helped the Dems (anyone but Bush) and he wasn't even running.

she's the great conservative hope ........ she shoots from the hip, she can rally traditional conservatists and women alike

she's got more experience than Obama has/had, couple her with a very solid VP candidate and I can see it

Too funny. Hey Charlie, right now no one has even put their hat in the ring for 2012. We're still in 2009 and have an election next year. However, when someone does step up to the plate they list why they are running and then you can make an informed opinion on their reasoning.

I can't see her winning many primaries for the GOP spot on the presidential ticket. She's like Rudy Giuliani -- a money-making pundit.

I thought pit bulls were real tenacious?

Come on and get real. Palin for POTUS in 2012...give me a break. She did the right thing to quit her publicly elected position. From what I heard on different interviews she was in over her head even trying to be a governor. When oil prices were high there was a lot of money flowing into Alaska as a result. It wasn't her wonderful management; it was the timing and price of crude. This year it is a far different situation and the money isn't there making the job of balancing a state budget much harder. Then look at the 20 ethics charges that were leveled on her. Not all of them have proven false and there is more to come. By quitting her job she will be able to write her book, and make appearances and give speeches for profit. She will do well over the short haul and then will disappear when people no longer are excited about her. Lots of people justify her inability to show that she knows something about politics or the world by comparing her to Obama. It isn't even close...she goes way past him but that doesn't make her deserving or even qualified to run our country. There is something wrong in politics when the best of the best turns out to be another Bush, Clinton, Kennedy, a community organizer or a soccer mom who is in way over her pretty head. I have tried to see where all the excitement comes in since I actually voted for her and McCain. Every time I hear her speak it only proves to me at least that she is not suited to be in politics.
