My question is what do you think should be done with or who should the government put at the US Mexico border. Because this has a large part in our government wanting to band high powered rifles ( aka to the media as black rifles) which also lead to hunting because before you know it if you haven't released already them calling your deer rifle as a sniper rifle. Mexico thinks its easier to blame their weapons problem on the easy access to rifles in the United States and the United States is going to let them because it helps in favor for weapons bans. Where as I don't see it as a access problem but more as Mexico needing to pump up the border. As in Xe Services LLC (Black Water USA) patrolling the border I think they would be more aggressive and probably wouldn't have to hear to the same rules and regulations as other other options. In my opinion that's who I want down there, to stop people from thinking they can just come over. National Guard would probably have a **** load of laws and regulations to follow, and also probably wouldn't be able to be so aggressive as Xe. To my knowledge Volunteer Organizations can not engage illegal immigrants or weapon and drug smugglers. And with the US border patrol agents there has been incidents where the border agents have engaged illegals and have been sent to jail for killing one that was '' STUFFED'' in a trucks wheel well when the agent tried to shoot out the tier of the truck after the truck did not comply with stop orders and to make things worst the one that got shot got full medical care paid free and got to stay in the United States with the other ones in the car and now the agent is in jail. There are other incidents also.

Sorry, even under the Obama administration, I will never be in favor of the military guarding the southern border, or solder of fortunes. Their is already federal, state , and local law inforcement to do the job. If they were allowed, and budgeted, to do the job, wouldn't be an issue.

I would prefer more Border agents, BUT until we can get them in place, I would like to see at least the NG if not the Regular army/military down there, with guns blazing I might add, those people are invaders and should be treated as such. Shoot invaders, shoot survives again.

I say use the national guard to protect our own country rather than some hell hole half a world away. Spend the money here where it will make a difference.

The only barrier that will keep the border secure is a rapidly receding wall of flying lead. I've said for years that the entire southern border should be designated a live fire excercise zone for the armed services. If they conducted random live fire excercises, and shot at anything that could not be positively identified as an other US service member, the border situation would cease to exist.
Failing that, imprison the chief officers of any company caught hiring *******s for at least ten years, once the jobs dry up the illegals will have no incentive to invade our country, and there would be no need for border security beyond the normal INS patrols.

As much a problem as "illegal aliens" are "unproductive Americans".
Eliminate the rewards to Americans to be unproductive, and the jobs that "illegal aliens" are so often accused of breaking laws to obtain will vanish.
Interesting, had a conversation with a contractor the other day who's tired of hiring "local" subcontractors. And, it's not so much a matter of the bid or the quality of the work, it's a matter of how long it takes to complete. Though a wild-eyed conservative, he now finds himself hiring more subs from elsewhere, who generally include documented foreign workers (he checks). They cost him almost what the local would, but aren't subject to "extended coffee breaks", trips to get a Big Gulp Mountain Dew, and the Friday noon layoff as they get ready to party all weekend.
To him, he now thinks that "hire a local" means you're paying as much for the entire crew to drive sweet F-350 HD or King Ranch pickups and pull boats and four-wheelers and get the job done two months from now, or "hire a Mexican" for about the same price and find your job being worked six days a week and finished three weeks earlier by guys who still consider themselves as craftsmen and take pride in their work and do it right the first time.
Time is, apparently, money. Just something to consider.
Not that I support illegals coming over to work, but blue-collar American had better be on notice that someone else might be out there doing it cleaner and faster than they can.
