Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The cop who arrested the professor

Lets boil it down.

A person in their own home can be arrested and hauled off. You agree with that?

Not me!

Don't let people paint pictures for you. See things for how they are.

99.9% of government should be scraped the rest should be allowed only after a long hard fought fight. Don't misunderstand me, it's no pass on **** ants. Western justice wasn't so bad.

You don't understand me, it aint my fault. Take more time to understand me than the senators and congressman do to read a bill and I think you will.

Back off and wait, or check to see if they are talking to the rightful owner.

You want the man to have the authority to enter and haul you off? In my book that's 10 times worse than letting a crime be commited.

It is freedom that's being discussed here. Freedom demands mistakes be allowed. Freedom demands crimes be tough to discern. It's a damn shame freedom 101 needs explaining.

Let my house be robbed if it means my freedom is intact. You say the courts don't see it this way and law suits will follow. That's your fault! When you let freedom be crucified you invite law suits. Not me, it would end with either me or the officer screaming uncle. The confrontation would be over and most likely with respect for each other.

As is terrible things await.

According to the police report, as well as witnesses, the prof was not arrested while in his house. It was only after he continued his rant against the "racist" police officer by following him out of the building, after several warnings, was arrested by police. He got what he deserved. If he is reprimanded, that tells anyone they can do whatever they want to a policeman, and just scream racism. Funny how everyone hates police officers until they need one.

Are you saying that in this case, the officer entered his house and hauled the professor off?

The cops job isn't to determine if a crime has been commited it's to protect freedom, period end. Just because people don't know or understand this is no excuse. Ignorance is no excuse.

I guess don't answer the door in the future when the cops show up? ha.

If concealed carry was legal nationwide and widely used I think we could cut the police force by at least 50% and/or just move them to high crime locales.

Out here cops either give you speeding tickets, or come to your house when the neighbors call them because you put your garbage cans out before 6pm, or you're riding a go cart on the street for 10mins.

The officer required the man leave his house. You think he didn't know the law about boundries? He knew.

The question is do you want the law to have the rite to haul law abiding people from their homes? Freedom demands they don't!

Look at this issue in a test tube, unattached.

Be very careful of the authority you give away.

Did you know slavery in this country started because one black man got the courts to declare another black man his property?

Be very careful of the authority you give away.

This prof could be a real prick but I'm not selling my freedom down the river just to stick it to him.

You have the right to have your own personal opinion but
it's obvious you know very little about the facts here.
