Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default What has Obama done good?

Come on, lets list what the clown has accomplished that has been, or will benefit America for the better...

I don't know of any to start the list, so I'll let someone else...

This is probably going to be a very short thread.

1. Gave the country new hope for the future.

2. Raised the status of America in the world.

3. Got a handle on the economy and moved it in the right direction.

4. Named a respected Hispanic jurist to SCOTUS.

5. De-politicized the Justice Department.

6. Reached out to Republicans to take part in the new administration.

7. Proved that this country is still a land of opportunity.

He did during the campaign and several months after the campaign. His approval rate is now dropping because people aren't seeing any results with his actions.

2. Raised the status of America in the world.
With the civilized world, yes. With the terrorists, no.

3. Got a handle on the economy and moved it in the right direction.
Let see here. Rising unemployment, housing market down, and credit card companies being pirates as usual
. He really has things handled.

4. Named a respected Hispanic jurist to SCOTUS.
A racist judge who doesn't even meet the requirements to be a federal justice.

5. De-politicized the Justice Department.
I really haven't been following the Justice Department until recently. I will have to see.

6. Reached out to Republicans to take part in the new administration.
But he did not offer bi-partisan views as he promised. He told Republicans to vote for his plans, but we didn't like them and he went ahead with them anyways.

7. Proved that this country is still a land of opportunity.
For people who wish to be unemployed. Even the illegal immigration rate has been dropping, and we all know that many want better opportunity.

To shorten this up, I take a 1000 percent opposite of the view of the top six statements by Beau above. On Number seven, He has not quite YET destroy all hope that this is still the land of opportunity but he has come Damn close.

There is no excusing appointing a anti gun judge. I don't look at gun control as a political issue, I look at it as treason, a attempt to erase the second amendment.

1. Gave the country new hope for the future. And what a hope it is. High taxes, Record deficit, Record debt, Record borrowing from China, record deflation followed closely by record inflation, record unemployment since the GD, took over privately owned companies, fired private CEO's, this list could get very very long.

2. Raised the status of America in the world. Yep, Hugo Chavez, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Kim Jong, all have a new found respect for America.

3. Got a handle on the economy and moved it in the right direction. Yep, Obama has managed add to our debt in just a few short months what no other president in history could do through out their entire term.

4. Named a respected Hispanic jurist to SCOTUS. Who is racist, and believes that her court is a place to make laws as whe sees fit rather than to uphold the constitution.

5. De-politicized the Justice Department.

6. Reached out to Republicans to take part in the new administration. Why would they want to take part in this administration. I would want to stay as far away as possible from this administration.

I'm reaching out to you Republicans to tell you to get on board with me and my administration because I am going to do it my way whether you like it or not.

7. Proved that this country is still a land of opportunity. Yep, what a great opportunity they have to reach into every working Americans pockets to steal more of their money and give it to someone to sit on their ass.

Great responses, I could add so much more off the top of my head. However, this seems to be limited in response

WTF are you talking about? We had blatent voter intimidation by the black panthers in philly, charges dismissed. We have two IG's now dismissed after they revealled exposed corruption in the Obama government or Obama supporters. We have Eric Holder now ready to run with an "Independent" procescuter in regards to the CIA protecting us against Al Qaeda. Do you really want to go down that road Beau with me? I challenge you to take that on if you really feel Obama has de-politized the Justice Department. FYI, better bring your lunch boy and a snickers bar. This could beat the last post wins thread in Off Season.
