Default HNI Changes

Hi everybody.

The newer owners of HNI have migrated the entire site over to new hosting software. The site is supposed to look and operate pretty much the same. Having said that, there is a bit of a learning curve for all users and a bigger learning curve for the mods and admin. If you have any questions, please email or PM a mod or admin and we will try to get your questions/problems answered/resolved.

Really need to work on the multiple login problem. Sometimes I have to type in user id and password three or four times before it takes... Sometimes, I get locked out with a message that I've used the wrong id/password more than 5 times, and have to wait 15 minutes.

I just tried to log in and it wouldn't take about 4 times in a row. I deleted my temporary internet cache and cookies and then tried again--it worked fine then. I know this is a temp fix to the problem but members should be aware of it and try it if they are having log in problems.

The login problem is really bad. Seems I have to log in two or three times every time I want to reply to a thread... I hope the techies are hard at work on this problem.

Is anyone working on the login issue? Seems like I have to login at least twice EVERY time I want to respond to a post, or edit a post, even if I've cleared my cache. It's very aggravating...

I know what you mean. I've lost a few posts now because I got logged off. I know they're working on it but don't have a solution or time frame to offer.

I noticed that if you use the "remember me" function, it eliminates this problem. At least for me and a couple others I've read.

Thanks EG. I've also found that redirecting my browser to a different website and then back to HNI shows me logged in again. It's still a hassle but more effective than trying to log on multiple times with no success.

This crap is still going on. Try to log in 3, 4, 5 times and it won't take.
Never had this problem before the new folks took over. Hope they get their act together soon.

I've been using the remember me button that Elgallo114 suggested when I initially log in and it seems to help a lot.
