Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The Letter

http://www.glennbeck.com/content/art...98/26742/?ck=1

Cut and paste it, modify it to your views and print it out and mail it to every senator and representative regardless if they represent you or not. Don't email it because it won't get to any one except those that actually represent you.

Here is Glen Becks conversation with the author of the letter.

The link for the audio is for members, the transcript of the conversation is available without the membership. I emailed Glen Beck advising that the petition had been shut down. I know that when I signed it at a little after 5:00 PM EST that there almost 17,000 signitures at that point and I can only imagine how hard the website got hit after he read it on the air during the 5:00 show. I know that by 6:00 it was already shut down.

Yeah, I heard about it on the drive home on the radio at 7:00 central time and it was shut down by the time I got home and it is still shut down. I am going to continue to keep checking to sign the petition.

Unfortunately I don't get to watch his TV show.

I heard the letter yesterday on the Beck show, Glen read it beautifully. I pray it will wake up the silent majority.

We the people are coming....awesome.

Big Bulls you really think mailing this letter will do anything? Does anyone on this board really think our elected officials give a damn about us anymore?

The only reply I normally get when e-mailing one of my state's senators or congressmen is a form letter with a rubber stamped "signature", and that's only because they're legally obligated to reply. These missives always speak in platitudes that they think I want to hear, yet they vote completely the opposite.

Do you think that sitting on your ass and not doing anything is going to achieve better results?

Don't email it. Put it in an envelope send it to every represenative and senator that you can afford to. I know the cost of postage is going up but it isn't that expensive to send 10 or 20 letters or maybemore. I printed out about 30 copies and plan on sending them out as soon as I can get a list of addresses.

You can find them here:

Click on your rep's name, and it'll take you to his/her site, which will have an address.
