Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Chicago-Style Politics in the White House

His Holiness Obama fires Inspector General Walpin (in a manner violating law that Obama sponsored) for doing his job by uncovering the fraudulent use several hundred thousand dollars of federal grant money. I guess it's too bad for IG Walpin that the person he was investigating happened to be a black mayor (former Phoenx Sun Kevin Johnson) who is a basketball-playing buddy of HH Obama...

He is just sending a signal that anyone who wants to keep their job will not investigate him or his friends.

Is there no criminality associated with this action ? I believe the IG will be seeking legal redress.
This is not going away anytime soon, I believe....

They clearly broke the law when they fired this guy. However, who do you think will raise hell over this besides Fox news? The prince will get a pass by the press for sure and breaking the law is a everyday thing for a Government full of Czars that have no obligation what so ever to the people or their representatives.[:@][:@][:'(].

I am sure glad that I am old because the best is long gone.[&o]

Besides that, where would they have learned any of that dirty Chicago politics? OH Wait!!!! Thats where they came from, silly me.

Well then, I put it to people; if we are in an unchangeable situation where we are being RULED and NOT REPRESENTED, if the goverment, with lauditory comments of the press can and readily will break the laws of this country, and if the legislature will not act, and law-enforcement will not perform, then what's left to do ?
NOW is a rifle and a bullet and hell and blood justified in the restoration of what is supposed to be , or do we go
into that damp cold hole in the earth without so much as a shout in protest ?

We are not in an unchangeable situation. As required by the Constitution there will be another Presidential election in 2012 and if it is the will of the electorate a new President will be selected at that time . Until then, we are bound to respect the outcome of the 2008 election in which the majority of American voters freely chose Barack Obama to be President.

Change better start in 2010, Also, just because a anti American was elected by morons does not mean we should sit on our thumbs while they destroy whats left of the country, we need grass roots movements to show our representatives that we are PO ed big time and that they will be replaced if they keep this Horse **** method of government.

I believe James has it more on target...this situation IS UNCHANGEABLE until the 2010 elections. There's lots that can be destroyed, degraded, mutated and subverted in 18 months. Without Iranian-style, take-to-the-streets and burn-the-place-down protests, you really CANNOT change what's going on if the Obama/Pelosi/Reid triumvirate will not listen. Without the threat of violence, mortal retribution, physical assault, riot, civil disobedience en masse, there is not JACK SQUAT that can be done until the midterm elections. So in the 18 months until that time, we are staring down the barrel of a loaded gun:
a: massive tax increases across the board for all citizens
b: socialization of the health care system to include the end of private care
c: the acquisition of militarized nuclear power by our enemies as a result of our own inactions
d: the willful, open, and persistent defiance of the rule of law by the administration
e: the empowerment of the federal government (aka Czars, Fed Reserve, etc..) and further intrusions into
private live above and beyond the lawful limitations of government
f: The transfer of power from domestic venues (the 'government') to international concerns such as IMF and the UN
g: the unilateral disarmament of the military currently actively engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan
h: the continued funding and empowerment of ACORN for the purpose of gerrymandering the census data into an
unassailable majority which cannot be removed from power.

Yeah...sure.... It is THIS situation that people on this board were screaming about at the tops of their lungs
and which other unmitigated morons defended (I've not seen their pitiful likes around here in months). Now we
need to survive until a 'correction' can be made in 18 months, provided of course, that correction actually occurs.
If not, on to 2012 and another ACORN sponsored election....
