They must have been confused... thought they were celebrating a futball victory in Mexico City, when it was actually a basketball victory in LA...

They're the same kind of numbnuts that tear down goal posts at football games or steal the net at a basketball game when their team wins. The only thing different from the ones now and the ones who did the same thing back in our forefather's day is the faces.

the problem here is just not a total lack of intellect. It is dangerous to the extreme, as it is mob-mentality which
in unpredictable at best, and criminal in action most of the time. These are criminals and I don't care what sort
of justificiation is being used, there is a riot, there is arson, there is property damage, and there are assaults both on citizens and police officers. They need the power of three: Tear gas - batons - dogs. I for one know that I've never run faster in the OPPOSITE direction when being chased by a dog (it's a worthless endeavour because when the dog catches you, you're just out of breath and unable to effectively defend yourself against the animal...)

Did you read about the 8 police officers injured? Arson? Vandalized buses? You're seriously going to equate cutting the net off of a basket with throwing rocks and bottles at police officers and lighting squad cars on fire?

This is not mischief in the spirit of good fun. This is criminal and to treat it like anything else is to condone it.
Just because it's a crummy basketball game, does not lessen the criminality of the acts perpetrated. When
did we decide to tolerate such effrontery ?

I've seen celebrations get out of hand, like in Columbus after OSU beats Michigan.
