Countries don't just die, they perish. If it was a suicide it was because the body had suffered all it could and decided it no longer had a reason to live. The contry was as close as it is now when Regan took office. He tried to pull this nation out of it's spiraling stair case march down. His only problem was that the people who said "Amen" were only saying it to rape and pilage.

This country died years ago when it legalized abortion. It was the result of other steps down that spiral stair case. No nation that treats it's young so cruely survives. Just the brutal truth.

As surely as 2+2 is four what I said above is true and only if the nation changes is there any hope.

No way. That is why the smart ones way back made sure we could elect a new person every 4 years. We aren't dead we are just waiting for the next election. If things don't get better Obama won't even get the black vote next time.

He'll get the black vote guaranteed. From what I've seen in local politics, minorities have a sort of battered wife syndrome- they'll goes as far as to vote in an overt crook who racketeers against his own community from his office. What will be notably lacking is the 'white guilt' or 'white feel-goo' votes from the middle and upper classes.

I don't think that America is dead either. The Obama admin is more like a defibrillator jolt to a flatlining body. Its a painful jolt that will be over quickly. Whether America wakes up and discovers that its rotting from the inside is another question entirely. If the taxpayers of this country don't give every congresscritter thatsold, I mean stole our futureand the President a pink slip, we should just stick a fork in the whole American Experiment.
