Last year the US congress had the lowest rating of all time at about nine percent.Not to matter, Over 90 percent of the scumbags running for re-election were re-elected. The whole idea that every congressman except for mine is crooked, unresponsive and in the pockets of the fat cats is absurd. Wake up people and throw all of the politicians out of the US congress.

falcon, I disagree. Bush was too far to the LEFT. He abandoned all fiscal conservativeness, was very soft on our borders, and socialist on his prescription drugand no child left behind policies.

We are going to see more and more of these stupid (fixed)town hall meetings. I will consider them fixed until he comes to Texas, and I feel like I have a real chance of asking a question. Answering questions is not what this is all about.
I think we will see more, because none of his policies have worked. Stimulus has not worked, his foreign policy is a joke, andunemployment is skyrocketing. Polls are showing that the American people are not real happy with all the spending. The only thing he has going for him besides media adoration, and complete control of congress is for some unknown reason his popularity still remains high. His celebrity status is carrying him right now, and if he loses that, he will quickly crumble under his failed policies. He has to prop up his vain existence, and sell his un-American policy. That is what these propaganda shows are all about. He is also cramming things down our throat so fast, they don't get a chance to be examined fully. He has two years to "change" the country, and if he can do it it two years, I don't really think he cares to have a second term. Why two years? He knows the mid-terms could ruin everything.
I think if he went 3 days, and stayed away from the camera, I think he is afraid public opinion would turn on his popularity. It's kind of like two insecure people who are dating who are afraid to go one day without seeing, or talking toeach other.
That usually don't last long.
I'm hoping anyway.
