Default Terrorist now getting miranda rights

The story broke yesterday on Rush (or I first heard about it there)and now a little more is coming out. Obama is now having miranda rights being read to captured terrorists. It's very scary the Dems want to take this war on terrorism back to a police action.[:@]

One day after the very first detainee from Guantanamo Bay was transferred to New York City to stand trial, we are now learning some shocking news thanks to The Weekly Standard.
According to Congressman Mike Rogers "” who serves on the House Intelligence Committee "” the Obama administration is now requiring FBI agents to read Miranda rights to captured terrorists[/i]. This is a complete 180-degree turn from previous statements made by the president recently on "60 Minutes:"

I wasn't aware that being captured as an enemy combatant POW was the same legally as being arrested on US soil by a member of law enforcement. Care to comment IPSC? Just how the hell can an enemy combatant have the legal rights of a US citizen when they aren't even in this country?

I wonder what the over/under is on something big in this country going "boom" in the next year. I would like to know how manyFBI agentswill read Miranda to a man wearing a C-4 vest. This is like the first accident on a crowded highway, it's only going to lead to a huge pileup.

They don't. Unless the president is an idiot.

Solution to the problem: Shoot the prospective detainees before they are captured.

unfortunately that won't work. The soldiers will then be on trial for not giving the terrorist their due process rights.[:@]
