Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Talk about ripe for a rip off. I wonder where that 4 billion comes from? Oh I forgot we are printing more money all the time so it is OK.[:@]

It says in the article that the money comes from Department of Energy funding which was already approved in the stimulus bill.

I can see a rush to get those already registered beaters road ready. You know the type the 20 year old PU you only use for plow work and chores. The old muscle car that barely runs and you rarely drive.

I wonder... If you trade in two clunkers for one shiny new car, can you get $9000?

This is too funny because the other night, I finally gave into my daughter and gave her my 16 year old PU. It will be her first car when she gets her drivers license. Nope, no plans on ever trading it in.

Not to mention that Obama has now mandated that they can't spend a dollar without saving a dollar. This guy is so full of double talk rhetoric and plain BS that it is just insane.

What is it that Beck says, no don't watch this hand watch this one. This administration is full of liars and criminals. What they are doing to this country is criminal. It's all of the politcians, not just Democrats and not just Republican's it's all of them, save a few who have no choice and no voice.

This is taxation without representation.

All those classic cars and trucks (AND thier original parts) Crushed and sent to the chinese steel mills. They CAN NOT be resold. Everything out there is now worth $4500, even my 51 chevy 1 1/2 ton that I can't sell for $1500....but I would NEVER do that to it!! I don't see this as a good thing.

Hmmm, I won't take the cash-for clunkers bait...

My only 'clunker' is a '95 Nissan pickup.
-It gets better gas milage than the cutoff points for the program.
-In its 200,000 mile life its had fewer and cheaper repairs than the two much newer GM products in my garage.
