So, Obama knows creating jobs at this time (a common political benchmark) is near impossible, right? And he came up with this phrase to spin his way to "success."
Here's what it means...
Company A is going under. It receives a few a little stimulus money -- not enough to make a difference -- and files for bankruptcy anyway. As a result, it lays off 1,000 people. Since it originally employed 10,000 people, Obama can claim that he "saved" 9000 jobs.
In fact, the more companies that lay people off, the higher Obama's "success" rate with "saving" jobs.
Am I off here? shouldn't someone be pointing this out, nationally?
Heck, Bush was supposed to have paid companies to send jobs overseas. Obama is paying companies to lay people off.
Don't expect the mass media to say anything negative about the golden child. He can do no wrong. He inherited everything that's wrong, and if not for him everything would have been ten times worse by now.[:'(]
