Obama picked Biden as a life insurance policy. Think about it, who in their right mind would think of assassinating Obama with Biden set to step up. I guess I have not been giving Obama enough credit. That would be credit for self preservation, not political savvy

Biden remind sme somewhat of the whole Dan Quayle era. The big difference is that Quayle's screw-ups were usually harmlessmisuses of words. When Biden opens his mouthand screws up, he screws up big.
