Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default $8,000 for first time homebuyer downpayments?

The financial crisis was kicked off by subprime borrowers defaulting on loans. Why in GOD'S NAME are they trying to artificially prop up housing prices THE SAME WAY? To begin with, the money isn't created out of thin air, it devalues all other currency in existence. Second, it keeps homeowners from haivng their own sweat equity stake in the house, making it easier to walk away. Finally, it creates an artificially higher demand level than is natural given free market conditions, meaning........ yes, a BUBBLE! It's truly unbelieveable how idiotic this administration is when it comes to economics and learning from past mistakes! [:'(]

Doesn't hardly seem fair, and, isn't that what this administration claims to be all about? If I'd gotten $8 Grand anted up by the government when I bought my home, I'd most likely be done paying for it by now...

Stupid policy. We know what the unintended consequences are, yet we're repeating it anyway.

It's just another way for the government to reach into the taxpayer pocket, who do you think is funding this benefit.

Dont worry. Obama will soon run out of our money. And that will be all Bush's fault. As he always states.

I can only hope the rest of the Demos are fearing for their job security and turn agianst Barack Insane Obama. If they are smart, they better. America is stupid, proven by voteing this A-clown in, but I cannot imagine they are stupid enough to keep sipping the kool aid.

This is awesome! Lets put more people in house that are bigger than what they can afford so that they can come back in a few years and cry that the banks gave them 'predatory' loans when they are being foreclosed upon.

Its nothing more than more manipulation of the lower classes to push for more government controls. Obama studied his Marx very well.
