Despite the wailing from whiney liberals that Prejean is a gay basher and despite complaints from the far right that she posed for somenude photos, she will keep her crown.

Commentators like O'Reilly and Hannity have been supportive of her.

IMO it's ridiculous that a spat between a beauty queen and a gay "blogger" makes the national news.....

And I'll add that two preachers from OK don't represent the "right". What kind of preachers are they to be taking such an interest in a beauty pagent to begin with?

Some preachers may be ragging on her, but she is the media darling for most right wing Christian organizations. Think that even the agent she has hired is some sort of specialist at representing Christian celebrities. Think that most of them are far more concerned about combating gay marriage than bashing her for getting store-bought boobies and prancing on the stage in next to nothing.[8D]

Trump's decision to let her retain the crown may also have been influenced by the last minute revelation that Ms. Rhode Island had posed for similar photos, and that it was now public knowledge. BTW, I seem to recall reading somewhere that the pageant's sponsors paid for the plastic titties, and it's a pretty good bet that at least 20% of the other contestants were sporting a pair themselves, so why would they be an issue?
