How in the world has this not happened 10+ years ago? For a magazine thathangs their hat on a women's beauty, how come they never found a beautiful black women worth the title long ago?I know a few that would have given Ida a run for her money. I congratulate her for winning the title.

Because the magazine does not emphasize Africanwomen per se, Einstein. Being a magazine first published in English and founded in America, the emphasis over the decades is not and would not logically be on African women.
Once again, you fail to comprehend what you read, but posted it anyway.
I think its a huge discrimination for Playboy to not have recognized an Inuit woman yet as Playmate ..... in fact, I bet there are over 200+ countries and hundreds of ethnicities and skin color variations Playboy hasn't chosen ......
how are they any different than anyone else ?
because pro-black or pro-African American is the chick thing to be/do?
VC more proof you would rather attack me then anything else. Playboy is and has been an international magazine. You should get out of the country a little more. I bought a *** version for my girlfriend's little brother back in the early 80s.
