Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The So Called "Patriot Act" At Work

Yep, the nutcases have charged a 16 year old kid with a violation of the "patriot act." They claim he made a bomb threat. He is being held in a state that is not the one his home is located in.

Despite the fact that there are known al Queda cells in the US anddespite the fact that Islamic terrorists cross the Mexican border into the US on an routine basis; the FBI has nothing better to do than go after a kid. The witch in charge of Homeland Insecurity would rather go after kids than go after known Islamic terrorists. Way to go feds. [:'(]

Who cares if he's a kid?

I bet if the situation was reversed and the kid actually blew something up, but the Patriot Act could have stopped it, you would be on here complaining about that too...

That's just not true falcon. You just don't read about it on the front pages.

Reread the story and tell me the government's side? I didn't see one posted, did you? All I saw was the mom's side and that's it. You tell me, has there been any kids out there in the last few years busted for bomb making? I'm sure there has been. Did they get snatched up for a week in Federal Detention? No. They have the computer, if this mother's story checked out about a hacker, her son would be released. Tell me the motive for them to hold this kid, unless he in deep ****? After all, we have a president now incharge ready to release frat party initiation pics to the public. Oh it just hit me, he was Michelle's secret lover.

But i have a very good idea.Several of my Arabic speaking friends have applied atso called US security agencies. Two of these guys are former senior security officials inthe country of their birth. All of them are fluent in at least three languages. None of them were hired.

911 happened because the US did not have the Arabic language capability to read the millions of intercepts. The US still does not have the native Arabic speakers to cull through and read the millions of intercepts. So the idiots in the Feel Good Homeland Insecuritymake feel good arrests of native born US citizens while the terrorists are allowed to thrive.

Stop the presses. falcon's freinds weren't hired. It must be a conspiracy going on. It's GW, no Cheney behind the scenes.[:-] Perhaps it was you the failing common link.

I was reading about this yesterday. The list of seized items included the mom's financial records. I'm not sure how that links up with the kid making a threat on his computer. Even under the PA, the "authorities" must obtain a warrant, it's just done in secret. How something like that got written in and signed by a judge I find curious at best.
