Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Will OMC cars be hot sellers?

As a rejection of the Communist takeover of American industry, my husband has declared that we will not buy any products produced by OMC (Obama Motors Corporation) no matter what they call it.

Actually, MM is right.

How about we call it BMC (Bailout Motors Corporation)? Or DBM (Dodge-ing the Bullet Motors)? Change the "Ram" logo to a "sheep"?

Sad. All they did was provide the products that the markets said we'd buy. The econo-boxes sat on the lots while the SUVs burned rubber out of the plants and onto the roads. And people have the gall to say that Detroit didn't give us the cars we wanted? This is about Big Brother not liking our appetites for autos, along with the narrowminded, anti-transportation environmental lobby, and blaming a city and an industry for something they're too timid to level at we, the consumers (oh, that's probably because we're also "we, the voters").

The Wall Street Journal in a Thursday editorial suggested that it be called "Gettelfinger Motors." That makes sense. Then they could keep the GM logo.

Humans are incomprehensible

Maybe if "card check" goes through, the workers can organize and collectively bargain against the unionwhen Obama and the UAW are managing the company. Hmmmm.

When Ford takes advantage of this situation and starts building cars people really want, what is Obama going to do when the competition gets too tough?

They can put whatever shade of lipstick they want on that pig, it still won't get me to buy from them. I haven't purchaseda US assembled car in over five years, and after over thirty years of being disappointed with their products I doubt that I ever will again. I've grown tired of planned obsolence and shoddy cars that constantly reach into my pocket, especially after their crappy warranties expire. We didn't bring them tothe sorry state they're in now, they did it to themselves.

Thanks osama voters hope you are drinking this all in.[:@] I think the cars may sell pretty well but with the Government and unions running it, there will be billions more in free money to osama's friends they will have to subsidize the hell out of their products, More tax payer grief.

Well they can only squeeze so much water from a stone.
