The Middle East is a place like no other. A friend of mine is an army officer. When he went to Iraq for the first time, he was warned not to shake hands with anyone. He said toilet paper was rarely used by the populace.....they just used their hand/fingers and then cleaned them off in the sand. Cleanliness is not their forte.
