BERLIN -- After privately asking European officials to take some freed Guantanamo Bay inmates, the U.S. Attorney General is making a public appeal for help in closing a detention facility for terrorism suspects that has been widely condemned abroad.
Attorney General Eric Holder arrived in Germany early Wednesday after visiting London and Prague to talk about Guantanamo, extradition agreements and international investigations.
The attorney general was to meet with reporters in Berlin before delivering a speech about Guantanamo at the private American Academy.

Hell, since the detainees aren't a threat, why not open the whitehouse doors and allow them to live there for the next 4 years. Ya know, lead by example! That would be something new for a politician, leading by example!

When it comes to catch and release of terrorists, itis hard to tell where the Bush bunch quit and Obama started:So far as we know Obama has not yet released any ot the Gitmo bad boys. Not so for Bush. Yep, catch and release was athe game of Bush and his crowd.

Someone filed a freedom of information request, a judge ordered the pentagon to release the names and there it was out in the open; what the Bush bunch had been hiding from US citizens. Finally the cat got out of the bag: Turns out that Bush caught and released over 500 "terrorists."A few dozen of the Gitmobad boysthat Bushreleased to his bud the Saudi king were either captured or killed while fighting US orallied troops.

Yep, the US was attacked on 911 by Saudis commanded by a Saudi. Why did Bush release Saudi terrorists toSaudi? This is the list of "detainees' released on the watch ofBush:

Kathaksung mentioned the feds knew something about this.Check his note 876. Apparently the Gitmo prisoners were secretly implanted with tracking microchips that were followed with special fed issue GPS monitors. The feds knew where they were going and confirmed the Gitmo free range terrorist activities this way. Check the dates. No more puppets, now al Qeada operatives doing feds job with new orders....lol

Seeing as how Spain is so set on investigating the treatment that the detainees received perhaps they should show just how high and mighty they are by taking some of them. The truth of the matter is noone wants them because they are what they are in Gitmo for TERRORISTS.

In order to get an idea what some of these terrorist scumbags did, you should readthe Combatant Status Review Tribunal (CSRT) Documents at:

Good thing I checked that list. You were giving the impression that only Saudis were released. Heck, I think most people are under the impression that once you go to Gitmo, you are there for life only to be tortured at the whim of evil Bush. That is howGitmo has been spun by the left.

It is a shame the common everyday street folk in America don't know about the efforts that were madeto movedetainees out of Gitmo who we thought should didnot need tobe there. Maybe Bush should have politicized the Gitmo issue.

Yep, looks like the Bush bunch did not do too well on theirreleaseprogram. Over 30 former of Bush's released detainees have beenre-captured or killed while fighting US or Allied troops. A Saudi that was released is now in charge of al Queda in Yemen. 11 other former Saudi "detainees"are wanted bythe Saudi government for terrorist activities.
