I have not checked it out but i have no doubt that you are right on this one. osama will attack all basic American Freedoms, the best way to get on osama's good side is to be anti American.

Does this mean that the American public education system is worse than the public education system of Sri Lanka? Is the public education system here worse than the public education system of Ethiopia? This pathetic exaggeration doesn't merit my attention.

Our student rank pretty close to the bottom in testing, I don't think it's the fault of our kids, Their parents maybe, for settling for way short of what our kids deserve. What do our kids know about U.S. History? What are they taught, who's fault is it?

Dont surprise me The Rockefeller family has been involved for years in the destruction of the Republic of America. Been active members of the Illuminate,TRC, CFR promoting A one world order run by global bankers. Down dunbing the youth and adults is one of their best strategies.

Rockefeller is a true scumbag. Was living in WV when he was governor. He hounded old US senator Jennings Randolph into not running again. Then Rockefeller spent 14 billion to buy that US senate seat. Rockefeller pardoned a prison inmate, a murderer against, the wishes of his relatives. Yep, the pardoned scumbag murdered several of his relatives as soon as he was released. It cost Rockefeller a lot of money to cover that one up.

Not to beat-up on you, James B, or anyone else. I'll grant there is room for improvement in US public education. I'm in favor of improving US public education. I tend to think the low hanging fruit for improving US public education is for the parents of children to impose higher expectations on their children and for cultures to encourage educational achievement among their enclaves (versus solving the problem with more money, blaming teachers, etc.).
But I don't like the undiscriminating characterization of our educational system as "the worst in the world." Not true. Similarly, I don't like the characterization that our students "rank pretty close to the bottom." Without any boundaries defining what the statistical sample groups involved, I'm thinking that statement isn't true. "Close to the bottom" would probably be lower 25th percentile across the world -- including the Sudan, including Ethiopia, including all of India. Additionally, you would need to norm the test. If only the upper 30% of Indians even attend public school, the fair test is the corresponding upper 30% of our student-age students. It's pretty easy to shoot down "worst in the world" and "test at the bottom against the entire world."
Its kind of like this game of lamenting how bad things are here in the US is our third most popular spectator sport. It gets tiresome when the statistics advanced and the broad generalizations are so preposterous. Put some boundaries on your statements.

You need to compare apples to apples. America is one, if not the only, country that insist on teaching everyone through grade 12. Most other countries track students after a certain grade and start vocational training with minimal education. In doing so, we are compairing 100% of American students, to the top 10% of most other countries students. Does our system need fixing, darn skippy. I kind of like the idea of pushing lower level learners into skill training, instead of wasting time and money trying to teach them a corse that has no merit in their life, and most all of the time is to difficult for them to learn. Im sick of dumbing down classes for the masses, instead of pushing the top percent to excellence.

I am not saying that we have the worse system in the world but I have kids and I have grand kids, I can see a world of difference in the results of their schooling. That is in what they learned and how they were taught. It's been a long downhill slide.[:@]
