Closed door private negotiations. What happened to transparency? What happened to having all bills posted for at least 5 days before a vote. Back room politics at their best. I am still amazed that the people who actually voted for this fool can't get it through their thick heads that it is not only the rich that will suffer for things like this, cap and trade and the record spending. It will affect every single citizen whether they pay taxes or not. Do they really think that the businesses that are going to have their taxes increased are just going to absorb it. Of course not, they will pass the extra costs of doing business along to the consumer. The really sad part is that even if people got smart and called for Obama's Impeachment then the slug Biden who is even scarier take the office and then if by some act of God he's impeached then it goes to Pelosi who is the scariest of the bunch.

All of the stuff describing "torture" is there, but, most of the stuff concerning the information received, the plots that were discovered and attacks that were stopped, is redacted, by non-transparent black ink...

This is the reason why I don't accept BHO's pleading for bipartisanship. His idea of it is making the Republicans change their beliefs to his.

I may be wrong, but BOYSDA may have brought up a good point in a different post a long time ago
(I apologize in advance, in the event I am mis-attributing this paraphrasing of the basic point, and my
rant which follows...);
With each empowerment the democrats bestow on government, government is becoming more
prone to abuses of power. Democrats will not remain in power forever.

When the republicans resume a majority in 2010, or 2016 or whenever they do take over,
I fully expect and demand:
- criminal prosecution for all democrats who've abrogated the civil rights of American citizens
- rollback of all legislation increasing taxes
- exclusion of democrat input from all legislative efforts
- disenfranchisement of all who could possibly, in the future, re-install democrat control
- rollback of all 'social engineering' legislation passed without bipartisan support
- exoneration of all republican party members for any and all infractions regardless of nature
or severity
- revocation of all broadcast licenses for unreasonably partisan news outlets (by that I mean left-leaning).
- criminal investigations into the electioneering practices of MoveOn.org, Acorn, etc.
- criminal investigation of Barack Hussein Obama for his involvement with any and all fringe groups who have
engaged in influence peddling during the Obama administration (Soros, Acorn, MoveOn.org and any other
'potentially agressive' left-wing groups like General Electric, etc...).

I can't wait for the dems to clear the way for these sorts of abuses as I fully expect the republican equivalent of
a coup d'etat in response to the cesspool the Democrats are captaining us into now. I want recriminations,
reprisals, restoration of lost rights and privileges eroded by the dems...in short, I want to see the republican party (and I don't NECESSARILY mean it HAS to be the republican party, but in all reality, there's no other party which can successfully compete and win against the dems so that's why I'm using them as the 'standard'...and of course, it would be that "religious right", "Pro-Life", Pro-Military anti-black, redneck cadre of Right wing loons the democrats fear so much). It's only fitting, and would be a complete validation of the concerns being expressed by 'normal' people regarding the democrat abuses and incompentency we are witnessing now. Screw 'em all....I'd see the democrat party eradicated and destroyed as they are neither democratic nor representative. Should I be careful what I wish for ? Nah !
