Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Saudi senior Al-Qaeda figure arrested in Iraq

Word on the street is the CIA has declined to go an interogate him for information. They didn't even bother to go and look through his phone and computer. They said just turn him over to the military. I'm looking for that follow up story but Brian Kilmeade on F&F just reported it this morning.

Do you feel safer now that Obama is in charge?

BAGHDAD (AFP) "” A Saudi accused of being a senior Al-Qaeda leader in southern Iraq has been arrested in the port city of Basra along with three of his aides, an Iraqi army official told AFP on Saturday.
"A special force from the interior ministry arrested the Al-Qaeda chief with three of his Iraqi assistants," he said on condition of anonymity, without naming the men or giving a date for the arrests.
"He is a Saudi and was arrested in a house in the Abu al-Khassib district with his Iraqi assistants. They have been transferred to Baghdad by military aircraft," the official added.
Iraq has seen drastic improvements in security over the past two years as US and Iraqi forces have allied with local tribes and former insurgents to drive Al-Qaeda and other armed groups out of vast swathes of the country.
But attacks are still common and have killed more than 80 people this month, according to an AFP count based on reports from security officials.

This guy may be one of the Bush catch and release terrorists who were turned over to the Saudi king.

That may be true falcon but I've only asked you a dozen times without response. What do you do with the guys at gitmo? You don't like the place being opened, you can't say what you would do with those there, you can't name a single count you would charge them with, so why do you care?

Gitmo should remain open, no trials and hold those guys until the end of the war.

Either call them all POWs and keep them locked up until the "war on terror" has ended ortry them in some some kind of a court-pronto!!!

The Obama flake will probably turn all of them loose on the streets.

That's what they were and thats why gitmo needs to remain open. Geography doesn't change the equation and the 10 x 10 cell in the tropical paradise is just fine with me.

Why and on what charges? Remember Osama's driver was busted with rocket launchers on the battlefield, was the personal driver of osama, tried, found guilty, and sentenced with time served. How do you think most of the trials will go?

many on US streets with pocket money. Why not with AK47's?
