Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Tea parties.. anyone go?

I went to Beckley, WV for one and despite the 40 degree weather and rain we still managed 250-500 people. Good turnout! Nice talking to like minded folks.

I went to one today but it was kinda short as we all went to help the city guys lay sand bags, we are going to get some serious water. I live up above the city but my brothers and nephews house are right down by the river.

I hope that this is the start of people demanding some representation from our representatives. However the mainstream press it helping discredit these folks as right wing whackos, of which i didn't see any.

I went to one of the several around here. We have a few thousand turn outwhereI wasin the 3 hours it took place. I forgot my camera [8D]and had to use my phone to take picturesbut I can't get them to upload to my computer. [:@]Hopefully I can get it figured out and post some of the pics later on.

I found some Youtube videos of the one I was at.

If you pause the first one at 11 seconds you can see my son on the curb. He is the one in the gray shirt and jeanswith hisfoot on the street holding the sign out as far as he can. I was behind him talking to lady about some more future demonstrations.

I can't express enough how important it is to keep this movement going, I see it as the only chance to regain our government as it once was.

I wanted to go but could not get off of work. Had six people out and honestly I just can't afford to lose a day's pay. I hope that in the future these events get scheduled on the weekends and I'll bet you'd see a lot more people attending.
