Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default ..they launched it

So what are the consequences, if any at all?

Or maybe time will tell that it was actually shot down. From the little I heard it fella little short in the Pacific and possibly didn't meet NorthKorea's expectations...but I won't hold my breath.

I guess we're about to see what Obama is made of. This is some pretty scary stuff if you ask me.

The fact this threat made it off the launch pad and into ***anese air space ALREADY tells us the offal that
constitutes Obama. He is weak and ineffective and cannot deal with such issues. I guess the press was
correct in comparing him to Sarah Palin rather than John McCain...did not want to set goals unrealistically
high, for either of them...except Palin seemed to be aware of the threat across the Bering Straits, which is
more than I can tell from President Milquetoast.

I think Obama will handle this in the correct manner. He has already said he will isolate them. They meet today to discuss options, and I expect sanctions. I also think Obama should increase talks, and should avoid any military conflict in the area, or threats thereof.

That will show them we mean business! We didnt back up our last threat, why would we back up any others? We already rolled over, the deal is sealed.....Obama has proven how spineless he actually is. Im ashamed to have him as my CiC.

An aggressor on the outside while the country is failing apart in just about every catagory. If the pattern holds true, we don't have long.

Look on the dark side, at least gays can marry, baby's aborted and the dead taxed. Kind of makes me wonder if N Korea is all that bad.[&o]

The only sanction that would have teeth would have to be passed by China, NK's main supplier and close ally. Not going to happen. There really isn't much anyone can do to punish NK.

Even if we don't act militarily and just use toothless words to say they are doing the wrong thing as Obama will undoubtedly do, at the very least, we can try to keep them from selling technology and let them starve! We blame ourselves for electing the president and going the way of socialism, and rightly so. Perhaps the North Korean population can pay with hunger if they don't rise up to overthrow their government.

What exactly would shooting the missile down have accomplished?Perhaps it would have gotten into what, our 3rd war in 8 years, we havent even finished the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan yet.Would there have been any real gain from shooting it down, the crazy little dictators already shown he doesnt care if he pisses us off.It would be easier to starve them out through sanctions than to fight with them and cost us a lot less money and lives.
