Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default How big are these TEA PARTIES?

Just curious because I hear NOTHING about it in the media except I caught a mention of it on Fox. I'm sure it could be 1,000,000 plus at a gathering each week and I wouldn't hear of it through the media except Fox. How often are they held and what is the turnout?

Thanks

Several that I have read about were 5000 Plus. I hope the really catch on, I have been watching for one near me. There is a webb site somewhere, maybe someone here knows what it is. I checked it out once and there was nothing near me yet. The Government is way out of control for sure.

I appreciate it. If there's one on the mall in DC I'll walk over from work!

They are being held in nearly every major city, and many smaller cities,in the US in every single state. There are 31 in my state (FL) alone. The ones that the FOX personalitieswill be broadcasting from (Hannity in Atlanta, Glen Beck in San Antonio)expect to have several thousand at each location.

I plan on attending theevent in Pensacola, FLif I am able to leave work early.

I talked about attending these about a month ago and the general consensus was that these, and protests in general, would be a waste of time. Looks like there is alot more people wanting to be heard than we thought. I hope things are just getting started.

Here is the link to their web site if any one wants to attend one in their state.

Isn't it absolutely amazing how this gets zero coverage in the mainstream media? You'd think at the very least they would acknowledge them but put the liberal spin on it saying they are being held by people who wrongfully support the US constitution or something!

Yes, it is truely amazing. [:'(]
God forbid American citizens grow a spine and actually stand up for something in this countrymore meaningful than Brittney Spear's latest metal break down.

Thankfully FOX news is broadcasting it every chance they get.

I have been keeping an eye on this for the last month and have watched it go from only a hand full of protestshere and thereto having multiple protests in every single state in the union and Washington D.C. (Lafayette Park, I don't know how close this is to you Doug?)

God, I hope this is a precursor of things to come.

I know there are three in North Jersey, I would like to go but unfortunately I can't get off of work. I did however send a letter with a tea bag tag to my two congressman, senator and daddy obammy.
