Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

This guy got alot of points correct, like forcing gov to pay into social security, term limits, Gov retirements, and abolish the electorial college vote. Of course I think the American people started this Revolution of sorts back in 2008, by getting rid of Bush and company, now "the people" should continue to weed out the rest of the Republicans that are criminal.Of course there is no way that the people could march on Washington, because not enough citizens could afford the gas or supplies to go on a trip that long, thanks to Bush and company. This guy say's mail a teabag, well, Bush has the postage so high that not everyone can afford a stamp, also Tea bags went up in 2004 34% price per bag. WAITTTTT!!!, I got it! We all can hitch hike like we did to Woodstock!!!

You're a moron Rainmaker, the POTUS doesn't set the postal rates, the Postal Service does. If you're paying 34% more for tea bags it's because you aren't comparison shopping. Most people could afford to drive to DC if they felt they needed to, and if they couldn't it wouldn't be tough to find a ride with someone who can afford it. While you're cleaning up the criminals in goobermint why don't you begin with the tax cheats in the current administration's cabinet, or perhaps our self confesssed crack smoker POTUS? He didn't even deny inhaling like Klintoon. I swear you get loonier every day...

I've seen this quite a few times as well asBeck's 912 projectand I'm down with both(as long as Beck will stop crying).

Anyone need a ride to Washington? I would gladly carpool.

Ha this revolution stuff makes me laugh. The majority of people in this country dont even have the will torture and imprison foreign terrorist and build walls to keep out mexican invaders but theyre gonna stand up to the govt.? Gimmie a break! I know this wont be received well here but the truth, the way I see it is, this counrty's(if you want to call it that still, I see it as more a cult) problem isnt the govt, its the citizens, just a bunch of selfish, full grown children, running around buying crap they cant afford, and worshipping at the alter of pop culture , makes me wanna puke! The govt didnt create the so called reccession either, we did and everyone knows it, but I guess its much easier to blame the big bad govt isnt it?

If people were actually serious about a "revolution'' they could very easily collapse the govt by quitting their jobs, not paying taxes and going back to trading goods and services, for goods and services, by using the barter system, instead of currency. without taxes the govt would shut down within 2 years Im guessing, and thered be nothing they could do about it, cause therd be no way to prove income and no $$$ to fund the IRS anyway . Then when theryre gone wed sit down with our own former military leaders and develop our own defense system with our exisisting weaponry.

The only reason it wouldnt work though, is the people of this counrty would have to all cooperate, and would probaly have to give up modern crap like cell phones, credit cards, Ipods and god forbid the internet and TV for a while so I dont see it happening unfortuatly, which is exactly why I laugh at this "revolution" talk.

D&BH,

I used to think the American people's values were similar enough to mine that I didn't have to worry about an Obama getting elected. Now I know different, and can only hope that as taxes skyrocket to pay for socialism, people actually will revolt. I have to beleive there still is SOME breaking point that will be breached. But if it doesn't happen, we deserve every bit of the socialism we get. As Canada and France try to break free of it, we're accelerating our pace toward it.

I honestly can't say I see either of them trying real hard to break free of it. They might have leaders that are a bit more conservative, but I don't see them getting rid of much, if any, of their more socialistic programs like healthcare. That will never happen.

D&BH hit it right on the head. The American people are sheep, and we won't do anything except go to Myspace and blog about it. The American people are not even smart enough to know that the Founding Fathers gave us the right to remove the existing U.S. government if it became too corrupt. Right now, we are experiencing the exact same causes that started the revolution(aka, taxation without representation) Do we want all the taxes we have now? Of course not, our "leaders" do it without our consent to raise money for their salaries and government.

Oh and RM, why weed out just the Republicans? There are plenty of corrupt Democrats too (Can anyone say Chris Dodd?) Bush didn't raise gas prices either, its a little thing called "speculation." When our "leaders" voted for our military expedition in Iraq, it caused speculators to predict oil prices to rise, and then the price on gasoline went up. Bush only wanted this conflict, our "representatives"approved it, Republicans and Democrats alike, so you can just STFU about blaming the Republicans for everything. It is a bipartisan issue, case closed.
