Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Hillary Makes Great Strides in Foreign Relations

It appears Hillary Clinton has gotten Russia and Iran onboard with some foreign aid. Iran agreed to work with on rebuild of afghan. Iran says the Bush mentality of "your either with us or against us" was futile. Now they are willing to work with the US.

The with us or against us policy only works if you are willing to back it to the hilt, which Bush wasn't. As soon as it was demonstrated that Iran was backing insurrgents in Iraq and developing WMD's, they should have been given a warning to stop, followed by the loss of an oilfield, followed by a warning, then loss of another oilfield. In a better world, the Iranians would be meeting with Hilary to try to buy oil from us instead of promising her to help in Iraq. We already know that they plan to "help" there.

They should have also sent Jimmy Carter in to play hardball with them. Maybe he could try to redemm hiimself for helping to usher in the modern age of terrorism.

She will accomplish nothing with either country. osama is weak and all our enemies know it. Why would either country want to cooperate? They may take some of our money while continuing to do whatever they want.[:@] You can only bargain through overwhelming strength.

Let's just say Hillary isn't the sharpest tool in the shed! Let's see, there's the "Reset Button" gaffe that really said "Over Charge". There's the lecturing of Europe in regards of democracy. There's a few more but slip my mind right now. Here are the latest gaffe's

Hillary's Mexico Visit Blunders Ignored by Old Media

Thus far, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has made two diplomatic blunders during her visit to Mexico that the U.S. Old Media are shockingly uninterested in highlighting. One was a policy blunder and the other a cultural/religious one.
Clinton's first mistake was in imagining she is still a Senator that can make pronouncements on pending laws and policy plans instead of a mere envoy of the president, a mouth piece that hasn't the same freedom to invent policy prescriptions and laws that a Senator does. Last week, Clinton told Mexican officials that "we" -- as in the U.S. government -- are considering re-upping the so-called assault rifle ban because Mexico's drug violence is "our" fault.
Story Continues Below Ad ↓
When asked on March 27 about plans to return to the 1994 law banning "assault weapons" (a vague and illegitimate term at best), Obama's press secretary replied that he was unaware of "any plans" to reinstitute the ban.
Clinton obviously spoke out of turn making promises to Mexican officials that she was not authorized to make.
"Who painted it?"
The second Clinton gaffe concerned her abstruse question at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, March 26. Her question showed that Clinton was woefully uninformed about the most important feature of the church, the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe enshrined there since 1531.
Catholic tradition holds that the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was miraculously imprinted by Mary on a cloak belonging to Saint Juan Diego in 1531. As Monsignor Diego Monroy brought Clinton before the shrine, Clinton asked her blundering question.
After observing it for a while, Mrs. Clinton asked "who painted it?" to which Msgr. Monroy responded "God!"
Now, perhaps Clinton being so woefully ignorant of anything religious isn't such a surprise, but for a Secretary of State to be visiting one of the most famous and important churches in the region, one holding a much beloved religious relic, without even finding her staff informing her "who painted" the image reveals a shocking lack by professionalism of both the Secretary of State and her staff.
Add this to the "button gaffe" of March 7 where Clinton's staff failed to find out how to spell a simple word in Russian and we are seeing a Secretary of State failing in the simplest of tasks making a mockery of our "diplomatic" outreach.
Sadly, the Old Media is letting her off the hook with aplomb.

Arabs don't "negotiate", they view compromise as weakness and despise it,and sending a woman to negotiate with Arabs is virewed as an insult in their culture, Clinton would've been smarter to send a male underling than to appear personally. The Russians? Yeah, they've been so good at keeping their word over the last 60 years... The heads of both countries have publicly scorned Obama and view him as weak, they would view Sillery as even weaker, and indicative of a weak nation. She's doing more harm than good here.

Yeah but Kevin you dont see the sunny side of this. According to the Prime Minister of Great Britain, the world now likes us better now that Obama, Hilary, and company are running the show.

I don't give a rat's rump roast what the rest of the world thinks of us, most of them hate us anyway, yet strangely enough more of them want to live here than anywhere else, including their own country. Hmmm... I guess we're doing some thing right. As for Barry and Sillery, well...everybody makes mistakes.
