I want to see what you guys think about Global Warming. Particularly man made.
I think man made global warming is a complete hoax. Sort of like how we were supposed to be extremely scared of Americas population in the 80(i believe).
You guys should watch The Great Global Warming Swindle. Its an amazing documentary.
The thing i find funny is that the global warming supporters and so called scientist can never back up anything they are saying, and always turn down a debate.
I agree Dixie... its all about dollars and the most important thing for the gov......CONTROL! Notice how the sense of urgency has turned to a sense of desparation as the cooling trend has begun. The longer this goes on the more people are reallizing its a hoax and they reallize they must get cap and trade in place before that happens.
but to think that man kind can't affect the planet I think is a pretty simple argument... if there were 100,000 people on earth I could see the point, but there are almost 7 billion people currently on earth!
Mankind is responsible for the extinction of more species than any other....so we certainly have an affect on the earth in many ways, so I really don't simply by the "earth is too big to affect" argument.
I'll have to check out that documentary if I can find it...
I certainly remember that chart in Al gore's movie.... co2 vs. was it avg. world temperature? the two I believe went hand in hand...
I'm certainly all for more efficient energy use, power creation, recycling etc..., I think whatever the reason to do so the outcome would be a good thing for everyone.

Too big to affect....just go to any large city and look out at the smog. Take away the city and the air would be clean. Saying man doesn't have a hand at fouling their sandbox is rediculous.

That's true, but even the largest city is just a small dot on the planet. I live just 100 milesoutside of Houston, and my air is crystal clear. I think people in the cities forget there is a whole other world out there. It is real easy to dupe people into believing in global warming, and now I guess they are referring to it as climate change, when many of those people never get out of their stinking city.

Name a few of those, would ya?
"Global warming" is such a hoax and the Gore-likes are having a hard tme selling it, so they have changed the name to better fit their agenda to "global climate change", which lets them blame every extrodinary weather event on the "effects" that man has on the earth. More and bigger fires is one of the claims that the Gore-a-likes like to blame on "global climate change", but yet, man is to blame for starting most of the fires andenviro-whackies are to blame for not allowing logging to take place that would help control forest fires once they're started.
I read recently that sea ice is actually back to the same level as it was back in 1979. Polar bears are at record numbers. Cooling has actually been taking place for about a decade now. It's getting harderby the day to sell the hoax.http://www.dailytech.com/Article.aspx?newsid=13834
I want to know, is it worse to cool a couple of degrees or worse to warm a couple of degrees?

you can find the documentary on youtube, its in 9 parts.
but the thing is, when co2 release would grow the earths temperature would be dropping. The same with earths temperate rising. the co2 levels and temperature don't match up.
I heard today that the "do as I say, not as I do" man, Al Gore, didn't even turn all his lights off for "earth day", or earth hour, or what ever they called it. Hypicrit money power hungry SOB, as far as I'm concerned! He's so concerned about the earth that he can't even turn off his lights for one hour![:@]
