Default Obama tells GM CEO to hit the road

Obama wants this man gone...mostly because he led GM to build the kinds of vehicles Americans wanted. Is Mr Obamagetting way too big for his britches?

I lost all respect of Rick Wagoner when he asked congress to think about taxing gas to push it over $4 a gallon, so that they would be able to sell the new Volt. News flash Mr. Waggoner!!! Your not going to sell anything when gas is permenantly over $4 a gallon.

But that's what the Dems need in order for alternative fuel vehicles to sell. You can't blame the person who is being forced to sell junk to Americans due to the Democrat party hating oil. Gas needs to go to $10/gallon before alternatives look atractive and I don't see that. We already found out gas has to be north of $4.00/gallon before the public even flinches.

This is a very bad move and we'll see more money getting poured down these rat holes. How many decades did it take for GB to wake up and cut their support for their ailing car industry?

You would think with all the green tree huggers out there fighting for their environmental cause, GM would have no trouble selling the Volt. If GM can't sell it to them, how are they going to sell it to anybody with any sense?

Disrespect him all you want... what's scary about this is the radical notion that the President can dictate to a company who will or won't work there...

Or Obama could've left him in there and kept giving him bailout money. Tell me one good thing financially that Wagoner has done for GM. Can you do that? Like Lanse said, when you take bail out money your expected to turn it around or be replaced. If I remember right Bush was the one who created the car czar. Same thing would've happened under a republican admin. Bottom line, it needed to happen and it shouldn't stop with Wagoner.
