Default The Core Republican Belief

This Rich Republican would like to thank the US taxpayer.

In all my times as a wealthy republican, I've always been a firm beleaver in "let people help themselves" low-tax low government mantra. I don't see why us successfull people should have to bail out americans who are starving to death on the street. I don't see why we should pay for kids education, kids who never contributed a cent to us, and if morons can't afford medical care expensively provided by my friends in the health insurance industry, thenisn't itjust Gods will that they die without it? Frankly, not my problem. Why should I have to pay for it? What have these starving, struggling peasants ever done for me?

Fortunately, tax rates are very low in this country and its fairly easy for a cunning rich person like me to avoid paying even them. In fact, many of my friends work for companies dedicated to keeping government away from any of our money.

And its not just a conveniant, selfish attitude for us to take, its a principle. You give tax money to the government and all it does is get in the way of people like me making money by betting with other peoples money on wich of the things other people actually produce will end up making money we can then manage. Government wants to REGYLATE us. To limit our ability to take other americans for complete suckers. To limit the unavoidable damage to other people of our activities. As we don't know, or care, what we're doing or the consequences that could have for the rest of the country.

Seriously, screw those guys

Unfortunately, we in the moving money around sector, have recently had a few problems that we were kind of unable to fix. Certainly not with our own money. Wich is why we have been forced to convince the US government to give us $1 trillion taxpayers money to bail us out.

Taxpayers that feel a bit ripped off by all that money going our way should note that at least none of it will be wasted on-

hospitals to keep poor people alive and on welfare.

schools to educate kids who were stupid enough not to be born to rich parents

public services to improve living standards for the community at large.

I repeat: none of this money will be squandered on that stuff.

Instead, it will all go to the same large corporations and wealthy individuals like me whospirited the money in the first place, to make sure we continue to enjoy the massive privileges we always have and retain our money and power both in business and in washington. And its working, the share markets are returning, Our portfolios are soaring upwards in value again? Meanwhile, those foolish taxpayers in the middle class are left with a bitter taste in theit mouths and an increased susceptibility to our republicans primary message of lowering taxes. This is fantastic result for us!! and by extension, America and Freedom!

this is a great day for capitalism! I'm so happy, I could CRY!!

Were you attempting to prove that Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same evil coin? If so, good work. If not, what was your intent?

This is the way I used to think, it made me very rich, but about 2 years ago I took a long look in the mirror. I'm not trying to prove anything, just holding up the mirror for you and others to look into.

Blah blah blah, as someone who is paying over 20K/year to educate my kids, you have no idea.

FYI, it's the consevatives who are relied on for charity contributions. Both Obama and Biden are poster boys for your mantra of letting people suffer in the streets.

No government gets in the way for all us to make money. Government regulations always cost people a job, money and ultimately food on the table.

You mean, not tax payer money, your talking just printing money, you know ink on the paper. Besides, sice you don't make money and therefore don't pay taxes, it's not your money anyway. It's us folks in the top 10% that has to pay for all this crap.

Oh look guys, Rainmaker is doing something that even Obama is having trouble with, not wasting the money.

Since when has this ever been a problem?

With the black minorty dropout rate at 50%, looks like government is doing a great job at 15K/ student.

I was told there are tent cities in California, the liberal utopia. Is that what your talking about?

Do you really want to make that claim?

Remeber all boats have risen in the past decades. The poorest class has been shrinking while the middle an upper-middle class has been growing. Well documented I might add unlike your BS you spew everyday and when challenged can't ever back anything up!

If you're going to write mindless drivel, at least learn how to spell simple words. You are embarrassing yourself.

Republicans believe in equal opportunity. Democrats believe in equal end results, where a janitor should make as much as a doctor.

That is one of the most polite ways of saying "socialism" that I've heard in a long time.

What?

The post is entitled "The Core Republican Belief" and I am not a Republican. Nor am I a Democrat. If you have been paying attention, you would know by now that I am Objectivist Libertarian. Is that tutu cutting off circulation to your brain?

If you are a former Libertarian or Objectivist, I would like to know how you made the switch to Socio-Marxist without chemical assistance.

If that is really true, it makes you even more of a wacko then you've already have proven yourself to be.

Yep, and it's true. Remember that study about a year ago that concluded democrats are more unhappy than Republicans? They were frustrated because they couldn't understand why some people are better off than others. In their mind, everyone should be equal in wealth, regardless of whether they work, or how hard they work.
