Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Promised to get out of Iraq

Obama promised to get out of Iraq. Did you Obamaphiles expect those troops to go to Afghanistan? He criticized McCain and Bush for doing the verything he is doing now and yet he continues the process. Maybe he has a personal beef with al-Qaeda for killing his Muslim brothers.

Here is a link to an interesting read from an ABC journalist. Probably just another Republican plant, huh Rainmaker?

FYI, about 10 to 12K short of the troops requested from those in charge.

Yeah, thats exactly what I expected actually. He talked about the need to beef up our forces in Afghanistan quite frequently while campaigning IIRC. The troops had to come from somewhere...

He seems to be doing just what he said on the trail, making Afghanistan the #1 priority over Iraq.

Sorry, he's not. He's doing a lot less than Bushwas and he denied the number of troops requested by the General's on the ground.

Now wait a minute, the administration denying the General the troops he requested? Where have I heard this before? I think I might be having a deja vu moment?

Is it different because President Obama's the CINC now? You'd think we might at least have LEARNED something in the last eight years?

Obama is gonna get the troops out of Iraq, on pretty much the same schedule that Bush discussed.[8D]
