Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Tell me it ain't so...

The Obama campaign said over and over and over again:

If you make under $250,000 (In my feeble recollectionthat wasthe figure),your taxes won't go up.
We just plan to raise taxes for wealthier Americans.

I don't earn $250,000 per year.

I've heard that the Obama camp wants to tax the employer paid health insurance benefits that I don't pay taxes on now.

I've also heard that there are plans in the works to raise capital gains taxes.

I own stocks and mutual funds as do many ordinary Americans who make a lot less than $250,000 per year.

In both these instances, my taxes would go up in spite of the fact that I don't earn the aforementioned $250,000 per year.

But Obama has said he won't raise my taxes.

I contend that makes him a liar.

Don't worry... The Obama camp has merely said that "If Congress decides to tax medical benefits, we won't oppose it." So, technically, HE isn't raising the taxes, so, he's not really a lying lousy scum Socialist... [/sarcasm]

EDIT:...

By the way, you won't have to worry about ever paying taxes on capital gains. His spending is going to decimate the economy, everything will get nationalized, and you'll only have losses. Thus, you're getting a deduction!!! Voila!!! No tax increase. [/more sarcasm]

Yep. And the funny thing about taxing health benefits is, Obama actually laughed at McCain when he proposed that during the campaign.

Obama will not come right out and tax us poor folks. He is going to do it behind our backs. Or I should say, behind his blind followers backs. All the rest of us can see how the cap and trade will tax the hell out of all of us. When fuel prices go up, we pay for it at the pump, on our utility bills, and as sure charges from companies who have to charge them to stay in the black. The cap gains tax will get us as well, because the love is always passed on to the consumer. Either in money or lost jobs. Yep,, we are about to get bent over. And I cannot for the life of me, figure out why the Obamanites think they will not see any tax increases. Just the notion of their Daddy throwing tax dollars in the toilet should scare the hell out of them. I guess they really think the government has its own money.

All money belongs to the government. They just allow you to use some of it from time to time. [/sarcasm]

Obama laughed at McCain's proposal. Obama ran misleading, deceptive ads deriding McCain's proposal. McCain's proposal included a tax credit which would have offset the taxes on the employer provided health benefits. The Democrat plan does not...

Thanks for that point. I forgot to mention the idea of a tax credit to offset. Rather telling about Obama.[:'(]

the part i am particularly gleefully looking forward to, is when the rents all go up on the parasitic scumbags who
pulled the lever on the democrat column, thinking all his ideas won't touch them because they're 'po'. Every landlord knows that utillity hikes MUST get passed down to the tenants. Hahahah !

How about solar-panel installation ? Today's union electrician is tomorrow's doctor...hahahah
Does anybody think that the maunfacture of 'green' tech components can't be done more cheaply in Bangalore than Bangor ? I'm laughing, because these will join those 'other' jobs that left and the president says are not ever
coming back.......
caller: hello ? I need to report a problem with my DC Power converter ?
customer service tech in bangalore: bu budda bu blubba fa fudda blublublu ?
caller: I said, the system I just paid 85,000 for, from YOU, is not converting the DC
power to usable AC....
customer service tech in bangalore: Oooh...... bu budda ba bludda fa fudda fa budda blabludda bla bal.!

No more black cars.....oh.....what's the Godfather going to do ? Pink Cadillac ?

gas taxes to raise the price back up to 4 or 5 bucks....
increased payroll taxes on everyone making 75k or more....for now.....
hikes on cap gains.....
taxes on health care (gotta kill what we got before it can be replaced...)

Perhaps, but if congress enacts a law, doesn't the President have to sign it? If he signs such measures into law, he is supporting them. Not much wiggle room as I see it.

And believe me the rent increases will come FAST and FURIOUS. Before the same Gov't that increases the income properties owner's operating expenses mandate rent control. I am already making plans. I will be sending those nice little letters with the increases like we get from our Vendors- "We are sorry to inform you that your rent will be increasing by 30% because of the 50% increase in Utility bills we pay to provide you with extravagent features like cold water, hot water, light to the common areas, a clean pool, and hot tub, etc."

I'll let you revel, I'll be busy.
