The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) last week revised its estimate of the nation's 2009 deficit to nearly $1.7 trillion, or $400 million more than its previous projection. It said the baseline deficits over the 2010-2019 period would rise by $4.8 trillion because of the administration's proposals, with the cumulative deficit during the same years amounting to $9.3 trillion, or $2.3 trillion more than the White House estimates.
It took "old millstone" Bush 8 long years to run up a deficit in the 500 billion dollar range.
Conversely, it has taken the Obamanation just 8 weeks to run up 1.7 trillion dollars in deficits.
Given 8 years, his deficits will be astronomical.
It looks to me like bungling ol' Bush had a lot more on the ball than this so called messiah of failed left wing policies. I've been around a few years and witnessed such debacles before. This country will pay a steep price as it is left with only one option to alleviate this massive debt. That option is to inflate it. Let me tell you, inflation hits everybody at every level of society. It will even hit the cost of college tuition. I hope todays young people have rich parents, good credit, or deep pockets. I saw what happened in the Carter administration. It ain't pretty. Either Obama is an idiot or has surrounded himself with the same. Or perhaps it is both.
